The Bank at Broadmoor’s President and CEO Chairs the CBA

D. Edward Sauer, President and CEO of The Bank at Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, was officially named Chairman of the Colorado Bankers Association (CBA) on June 29, 2009.  As Chairman, Mr. Sauer is responsible for presiding over the Association’s Board of Director’s meetings, assisting the Board in formulating policies and programs, conducting an annual review of organizational performance and effectiveness, promoting active participation in the Association on part of the membership, and officially representing at various events, among other things.  Mr. Sauer has been a member of the Colorado Bankers Association since 2001. He served as Chairman-Elect, leading the Government Affairs Committee in 2008, and served as Treasurer in 2007.

“Ed is very qualified to Chair the Colorado Bankers Association with his extensive banking background and particular experience in the area of government affairs during this time of great change in our industry,” said Don Childears, President and CEO of the Colorado Bankers Association.
